We are very sad that the relationship with this parent deteriorated to the extent that we felt we had to end the contract. We did not take this decision lightly, but we were no longer able to work in partnership with the parent to ensure the best interests of their children, which is at the core of our ethos. We terminated the contract following the procedures set out in the terms and conditions, and which this parent had signed. This is the first time in 51 years that we have had to do this at Bristol Childcare.
We have rules and procedures that we follow to ensure that we treat everyone fairly, within the law and with integrity. We are proud of our Priory nursery team and the way the staff did all they could to support this family, in difficult circumstances.
