At the time of the issue you have referenced, the guidance we were following from the DfE was that children displaying symptoms of Covid-19 either needed to self-isolate for 10 days or secure a negative test result before attending the nursery. As you decided not to test your child (neither PCR nor LFT), our policy was that your child would then need to self-isolate for the required period. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused, however, we were duty-bound to follow the guidance in place at that time.
