Hi, thank you for taking the time and effort to write your review. We were very pleased when your son settled in October 2020, it was a delight to look after him and he was a happy child at our nursery. As a company, we are proud and have worked very hard to ensure that the new East Croydon Nursery was beautifully designed and every room is engaging and practical with modern equipment indoors and outdoors, providing a stimulating, fresh and vibrant, fun environment.

We valued your custom and I assure you that we take all customer feedback seriously. Safeguarding is incredibly important to us protecting all children that attend the nursery. The nursery makes every effort to have effective safeguarding processes in place and keep children safe. We have had no similar concerns of this nature from any of our parents, however we value your feedback.

Recruitment shortages are severe across the childcare industry and many other nurseries can attest to this. However, we have always been able to remain in ratios and provide the quality of care required to meet the needs of the children with a staff team who are passionate about the children whom they look after, striving to meet the individual needs of those in their care.

There is nothing in the EYFS framework guidelines that suggests different-aged children must be kept apart throughout the nursery day. All activities are age-specific and manageable because the groups are small. Research has found that mixed-age grouping can be a beneficial approach.

We pride ourselves on the safety and wellbeing of all the children in our care as the welfare of the children is of paramount importance to us here at Little Pumpkins Nursery.
