We are sad that you are unhappy and that you didn’t inform us of your concerns when we discussed your decision to leave. We know it’s hard to leave your baby and that lockdown has created more anxiety in many of us. We knew he was unwell but not that he’d had diarrhoea. Had we known settling in would have been delayed by at least 48 hours. We deliberately have one staff member work with the family and feel that holding an upset baby is a must. Had you continued settling in you would have seen various activities set out throughout the day. We apologise that a staff member walked across the area once wearing their shoes. All resources had been deep cleaned and are cleaned regularly we have asked staff to check. Free flow was happening, and ventilation is a must right now. We investigated your claims checking CCTV and would like to reassure you we found no evidence our staff lied. We welcome comments and would have talked these through with you with the view of putting your mind at rest.
