Due to COVID we have faced many challenges due to parents not being able to enter the nursery building. So that we do not lose parent involvement and engagement, all our resources have been adapted throughout COVID to still be available for parents, which have included regular phone contact and messages via the parent app to maintain the relationship between home and nursery. In addition, we have also introduced snapshots which are added daily so that parents can still see what is happening within the nursery. We have also implemented a ‘what’s going on this week’ board, displayed outside the nursery - each day the board is updated so parents can see and be involved in the child planning of weekly activities.
