Our level of staff turnover at Sunhill Royston is in line with the average turnover in the childcare sector. We do agree with your comments on staff pay, and we review this annually in line with our parent fee increases. Our staff rates of pay are competitive within the industry. Unfortunately, the early year's sector does suffer with receiving low funding rates from the local authority, which does not cover the cost of childcare, and early years settings are also charged high business rates. Sadly, both of these factors impact the amount that we can pay our staff. We are pleased that you can see how valuable our staff are to us, and we reward them in as many ways as we can.
