The children are encouraged to handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing. The nursery support children with their pencil control ready for their transition on to school. This is evidenced by recorded observations as per the EYFS.

The child left the nursery in August, however, contact has been made to discuss this review with the parents.

The key person works in partnership with parents, and supplies resources for parents to use at home, for those children who require additional support in preparation for school or within a specific area of learning.
