We would firstly like to state in response to this review that as a high-quality Nursery, we always go the extra mile in addressing any parent’s concerns and will always work extremely closely with parents and carers as any child’s happiness and welfare will always be of paramount importance to us. This is always our main priority and is clearly reflected in the extensive feedback we receive from our parents, both in writing and informally through direct comments. All of our staff work tirelessly to make St Andrew’s a wonderful Nursery which is also reflected in the very high levels of satisfaction we receive. We are a fully inclusive Nursery and the care of every individual child is important to us.

In this particular case, we can only apologise if it was felt the nursery did not take the concerns seriously. We felt that we did, in fact, take the complaint seriously, which we do in every instance on the rare occasion that something happens, and additionally looked to resolve the issue in a professional manner at all times. This included reviewing staff practices, risk assessments, staff ratios and all policies and procedures. In all cases, matters were correct and reflected best practice. However, we were, of course, happy to openly discuss the complaint and took every measure we could to improve our processes and procedures further.

St Andrew’s Nursery will always provide wonderful learning opportunities for children as well as a safe and exceptionally caring environment, with dedicated and wonderful staff which is reflected in comments we have received from staff, parents, Warwickshire County Council and Ofsted. It is with regret that on this occasion we were unable to meet the expectation of one of our parents but do appreciate the feedback which we will always welcome as a further source to continuously help us improve.

Thank you again.
