In response to the assumption that the setting might seem small for the number of children and seem short of staff. We are registered for 43 children at any one time but it is our deliberate policy not to have up to 43 children at any one time. Therefore the nursery cannot be too small for the number of children.  We also have a deliberate policy to have at least 12 members of staff working directly with the children at any given time. This is a far higher ratio than recommended by OFSTED. We also have a pool of students on long-term placement from colleges. The setting is free flow, giving access to a large and well resourced outdoor area. <br><br>In conclusion, we disagree with this assumption.
