In relation to your comments regarding your child's learning and development, I am sorry that you have not felt that we have included you in your child's development.  <br><br>I can assure you that your child has 'next steps' set every week when his weekly planning is completed. We also have a 'next steps' board displayed in the room where you can look at the areas of development we are currently supporting your child with. <br><br>Each child will have a summative report completed in December, which will be completed in conjunction with parents and your child's key person. This will enable you to see which areas your child has been developing in whilst at nursery, and also the next steps to take in the following three months. <br><br>Emily is your child's key person and is always available for you to speak to. She will write in your child's diary what his interests have been for that week, and what type of activities we will be looking at for the following week, to enable you to continue this at home. <br><br>Regarding walks and outings; the children always access the outdoor play area and do try to get out within the local community as much as possible. Following your suggestion, however, we will look at how we ensure outings more regularly for our toddlers.
