We take all feedback seriously, but this review does not accurately reflect the situation. The decision to restrict access to the premises was not made in response to a review, but following intimidating and threatening behaviour and after seeking police advice to safeguard staff, children and the wider nursery community. Several invitations for a face-to-face meeting to discuss concerns constructively were offered and declined.We have never, and would never, refuse a parent with parental responsibility access to their child. The request was that drop-off and collection be carried out by another trusted adult, in line with safeguarding procedures, however this request was refused. These measures were based on safeguarding, not retaliation. We remain committed to working respectfully and constructively with all families while upholding our duty of care to provide a safe and professional environment for everyone.
