We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review and would like to provide some context. The child did experience an allergic reaction while at nursery and was attended to immediately, with a staff member by her side throughout. Medication was given without delay, and the reaction was resolved with antihistamines. An EpiPen was not required, as these are only used for severe reactions affecting breathing. We did not receive an allergy plan from the NHS and the child does not have an EpiPen prescribed (that we are aware of).The incident was reported to Ofsted and the Local Authority, who investigated and confirmed the nursery had taken all appropriate steps. No further action was required. The health and safety of the children in our care is always our top priority. We continue to work closely with parents, Ofsted, and local authorities, and have introduced additional life-saving measures, including a defibrillator and a LifeVac, to support our fully trained team.
