Unfortunately this is factually incorrect and inaccurate. Children’s safety and well-being is priority at Kids Planet. A concern was raised by a colleague and addressed immediately. Appropriate steps were taken to address these incidents, ensure transparency, and uphold our commitment to safeguarding children. The matter was reported to management, who followed the correct reporting procedures, and informed the parents the next day.<br>In line with reporting processing, the nursery worked in partnership with all agencies throughout this process. All CCTV was provided to the police and Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) only. Ofsted were notified swiftly and a compliance inspector from Ofsted promptly visited the setting and confirmed that correct procedures were followed and appropriate actions taken. Records are on the Ofsted website proving we met our statutory duty. The police investigated thoroughly, and no further action was taken.<br>We are deeply saddened by the situation and this review which could cause alarm or concern. We assure all families our values focus heavily on creating an environment where children feel safe, secure, and form strong nurturing relationships with our team. Our team are deeply committed to keeping children safe at nursery and at home, this situation is isolated and not demonstrative of our culture and values within our Ofsted Good rated setting.
