Thank you for these wonderful words. Your thorough review really does cover so many elements of our provision and reassures us that we are able to provide high quality for our children and families. Our recent parent questionnaires helped us to reflect on some simple additions and this has clearly supported the sense of community we were hoping to develop further, particularly after COVID and necessary restrictions. The 'Stay & Play' and 'Stay & Make' sessions were so successful we decided to plan more as they really did lift the spirits of all involved. Having instant feedback from our families at the time and watching interactions between parents, children and practitioners consolidates our aim of developing the 'extended family' rather than 'just childcare'. We understand how the transition to school is a very different experience for each family and the idea to purchase an online session from an external provider is hopefully something we can repeat again in the future.
