Dear Patricia. I am writing to you as the manager of the nursery to express my sincere apologies for the incident that happened at our nursery, in which your child was bitten. At Coat of Many Colours we take the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care very seriously and we deeply regret the unfortunate incident. Upon learning about the incident, our management immediately addressed the situation. We reached out to you directly to extend our sincerest apologies and to offer support during this time. I understand how upsetting this must have been for you and your family. I want to reassure you that we have taken steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the future. As part of our standard protocols, we maintain a staff to child ratio of 1:4 in your child’s room which is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for all children in our care.
