In May Ofsted carried out an inspection at our Nursery. Whilst there were many positive observations by the inspector, we’re disappointed with the outcome. We believe it’s not a true reflection of what the inspector saw or the quality of care at our nursery. There’s no doubt that children are safe, happy and enjoy playing and learning when they are with us, the report makes it clear that the children are safe and happy at nursery. Care for children with special educational needs was identified as a particular strength as was the strong and positive relationships that staff establish with all the children. The nursery environment is identified as high quality and the outdoor areas and equipment help children to develop their physical skills. The team are committed to providing the best experience for every child who is at the heart of all we do. The two action points around curriculum and staffing were already being implemented, but not embedded, ahead of the inspection.
