Colourbox's policies on illness exclusion periods are clarified fully with all parents, including our duty of care to protect the children, staff, and wider community from the spread of infectious illnesses. It goes above and beyond something as simple as not allowing Calpol for everyday aches and pains, and stems into wider safeguarding duty and children's wellbeing. Those who have a deep understanding of this, realise this is part of what makes us an outstanding place of care, education, and safety.
