We are disappointed to hear of your experience at Gingerbread House Day Nursery and we are sorry that you have had a negative experience with us. Unfortunately, in the Early Years sector, there is an increasing rise in staff shortages, and we have a legal requirement to follow staff ratios. Our usual qualified agency staff ensure we continue to meet these ratios but unfortunately when they are unwell at short notice the nursery has no choice but to reduce available places for that day. I am sorry that you experienced issues with the care and financial aspects of the nursery and please be assured we will address these at the nursery level and look at agency usage and how this can properly support practice.
