We are so incredibly sorry that you feel this way which has resulted in you deciding to withdraw your son from our care, we do take all concerns brought to our attention very seriously and swiftly respond with full, thorough, and non-biased investigations/action that our inspectorates have praised us for in the past. We are always extremely saddened if things go wrong, but should we find ourselves in such a situation we believe swift appropriate action and full transparency in such situations is always the best approach, giving parents full honest feedback within employment law confidentiality boundaries and taking appropriate action enables us to ensure we can address things correctly, doing everything we possibly can to prevent such things happening again.
We are so proud that our large 73-place nursery is very busy, running at 90%- 95% occupancy across the week. We don’t ever ‘over-book’ the nursery and as proven in our inspections our staffing ratios are always correctly adhered to. Even though we are a converted house with many rooms to allow for smaller groups of children throughout each day, we respectfully understand that it may not be some parents’ personal preference for their child to attend a larger nursery.
Our team of 29 are suitably qualified and experienced, have ongoing training, supervisions and mentoring and are never left lone working. As a team we adopt the ethos of supporting each other and saying things as we see them (regardless of your job title) to ensure only the best practice is adhered to for the children in our care.
Each of the concerns raised were fully investigated with appropriate action and relayed to the parents who were grateful for our professional intervention, however – we understand that when it comes to your child, sharing your experience is incredibly important as children are the most precious gift and always the main priority. We are deeply saddened that you have been left to feel disappointed and would like to express that this is certainly not how we want valued customers to be left feeling. Our aim is to provide nothing but the best quality care and it is something we always take very seriously.
We are unaware of any other parents having concerns especially as we always encourage individuals to raise any concerns, queries or worries promptly with us so that we can deal with things quickly. Communication is possible via phone call, email, face-to-face or our Nursery App… hopefully making the avenues for getting in touch with us easily accessible and suitable for all parents/carers during or outside our Nursery opening hours.
We wish you and your son all the very best.
