We were sorry to hear about your experience at our Gravesend nursery. We take the care of our children very seriously and offer our full support to every child and their family, particularly where there are concerns around a child's development. However, in accessing additional support for any child, we are very much lead by the local authority. Children only attending for two mornings each week often find it difficult to settle, thereby making it harder for the nursery to assess their needs. We note that you raised concerns with your health visitor, but we have no record of your health visitor trying to contact us. Our records show that the key person was introduced to you during the settling in stage and we are sorry if you were not introduced to the new key person. During your short time with us, we had a change of nursery manager, so it is possible that there was an omission in communication.
