A Characterful Book Day For Children At Kiddi Caru London Day Nursery

Some much-loved literary characters came to life at Kiddi Caru’s day nursery in Earls Court when the children and staff celebrated World Book Day (1st March).

The children could come to nursery dressed as characters from their favourite books and the staff joined in with the dressing up fun too. There was face painting, a pirate themed treasure hunt and character song time. The staff also organized a Handa’s Surprise inspired fruit tasting and Little Red Reading Hood panto.

Tamsin Treves, Nursery Manager, said: “All the children have their favourite books and it was so interesting listening to them discussing why they liked certain stories and characters. They loved being able to dress up as this brought their favourite books to life. It’s amazing to think that many of the stories we read had already been enjoyed by generations of children and that they will continue to fire the imaginations of little ones for years to come.”
