Preschool children at Bright Horizons Treehouse Early Care and Education Centre at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen celebrated Chinese New Year last week.
The children expanded their knowledge of different foods and cultures by eating Chinese noodles with chop sticks and tweezers. With help from the staff, they made chow mein to eat for their afternoon snack.
“All of the children tried it and some asked for more,” said Nursery Manager Fiona McQueen. “They also talked about having Chinese at home and what they get to eat when doing so.”
