Staff and children Kiddi Caru’s Peterborough day nursery celebrated Bonfire Night.
Guy Fawkes Night also known as Bonfire Night or Fireworks Night is an annual event celebrated on 5th November, primarily in Great Britain. The present-day Guy Fawkes Night is usually celebrated at large organised events, centred on a bonfire and extravagant firework displays. The children and staff marked the occasion with messy activities such as large splatter painting and spray bottle painting to recreate the effect of fireworks displays. The children also learnt about the importance of safety around fireworks and at firework displays.
Chia Wallace, Nursery Manager commented, “Whilst we were unable to recreate the noise of the fireworks, we had a fabulous day using our creative skills to recreate our very own visual brightly coloured displays in the nursery.”
