Canada Square nursery children take inspiration from famous nursery rhyme

13-Feb-18

Children at Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool in Canary Wharf have been taking inspiration from a famous nursery rhyme recently.

The children have been studying “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” for poetry work and both read the book and sung the nursery rhyme. They then decorated a crocodile and spoke about where crocodiles lives.

“We also implemented sensory play into the activity by setting up the water tray with boats in,” said Naomi Runeckles, deputy nursery manager.
