‘Spooktastic’ fun at Green Park Day Nursery

Halloween has been marked by children at Green Park Day Nursery in Reading with an array of fun filled, ‘spooktastic’ activities whilst raising money for charity.

The children went on a sponsored spooky toddle around Green Park. There were also two Halloween hampers raffled for parents.

Children also brought in some delicious homemade cakes for the cake sale and dressed up costumes. There was a visit from a ‘witch’ who brought in real life snakes and spiders.

Green Park Manager Mandy Cooper said:

“Halloween is always great fun at Green Park Day Nursery and we introduce light-hearted activities to mark the occasion. Children are invited to dress up and we are delighted to announce we raised a grand total of £416 for charity. Our thanks to all the children, parents and practitioners who contributed something to the event”
