Halloween has being marked by children at Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick with an array of fun filled, ‘spooktastic’ activities.
The event is marked annually at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery located on Bennet Street with a dressing up party and face painting.
Pumpkins have been the focus of many educational activities including exploring the texture of the seeds, textures, colours and shape as well as carving. There have also been themed craft activities and exploration of slime and gloop.
Devonshire Manager Emmy Avery said:
“Mid-autumn celebrations are always great fun at Devonshire Day Nursery and we introduce light-hearted activities to mark the season. Children are invited to dress up and are enjoying a range of sensory and creative activities in line with traditional Halloween festivities”
