Children at Bright Horizons East India Dock Day Nursery in London recently held their annual Eid party to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
The children and staff dressed up in traditional clothes and were joined by parents who went in to sample foods and take part in a wide range of activities.
“We had a piñata, selfie booth and face painting,” said Nursery Manager Alexandra Keys. “The children and parents loved having their photos taken with the different props. We feel it’s really important to celebrate a variety of cultural festivals and holidays throughout the year in order to build on children’s natural curiosity about the wider world around them."
