Northampton Day Nursery has been raising funds for the victims of the Manchester Terror attacks.
Practitioners at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Nursery on the Northampton General Hospital complex, decided to conduct a cake sale which lasted an entire week raising £130.
The Nursery then appealed to their Head Office Childbase Charity Panel who made a £2000 donation to the Red Cross Solidarity Fund who helps to support victims of terror in the UK.
Nursery Manager Tracy Smith said:
“The recent terror attacks are something which has shocked and saddened us all. We wanted to do something to help support the victims to rebuild their lives after the terrible atrocities. I would like to thank everyone who took part in the organisation and donated money to the cause.”
