Pre-prep and nursery pupils show off their skills at sports day

Culford Pre-Prep and Nursery held their annual Sports Day earlier this week.

Parents were invited along, giving them a chance to see all the skills their children have learnt throughout the year. They were also able to participate in the highly anticipated parents race!

The morning saw the nursery children take part in several events focusing on perfecting their excellent travelling, throwing and jumping skills. These included beanbag throwing, hurdles and balancing on a small surface.

One of the highlights of the morning was the ice-cream race where the children built some very tasty looking treats using cones and beanbags!

In the afternoon, it was the turn of the pre-prep children (PPR to PP2). They showed off their skills by taking part in several activities including football dribbling, hockey, ball throwing, hurdles and many more.

The children then took part in traditional running races and were very excited to stand on the podium at the end. Well done to everybody for trying his or her very best.

Throughout the day, the children earnt points for their Houses. Congratulations to the overall winners, the Yellow House.
