Nursery outing to the Roman Baths

Today the toddlers went on a trip to the Roman Baths!

They enjoyed listening to the audio tour devices and exploring the different artefacts some of the children were able to recognise the different shapes in the brick work 'it's a rectangle!' One said 'look a square' another child said.

We moved on to the hot spring and watched the water bubble but didn't go for a swim. The children were able to tell us that the water was Green and that the cold room had coins at the bottom of the water. The children then took part in a colouring activity in the work shop to draw a picture of the baths!

Afterwards we had lunch in the Abbey court yard 'it's a castle' one of the children said when they saw the Bath Abbey!

We all had a great day exploring the town we live in.
