Edinburgh nursery children create book display

Children at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Nursery and Preschool in Edinburgh have created a book display at the front entrance to the nursery, as part of the organisation’s Growing Readers enhancement.

The display features a wide range of books that both the children and parents can enjoy. The aim is for parents to read a story with their children before or after leaving the nursery.

“We thank the children for helping us to set up the book display and hope they can put the books to good use by enhancing their reading skills further,” said deputy nursery manager Kate Hubbert.

The Growing Readers enhancement aims to cultivate a love of books and emphasise the importance of reading aloud.
