Children at Bright Horizons Horseshoe Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey were recently visited by Zoolab after learning more about how their own bodies and those of different animals move.
The children were treated to a workshop by Zoolab on the topic, which included a rat, snail, cockroach, lizard and snake. The children observed each animal and the differentiation in their movements.
“The workshop actively involved the children and complimented our Growing Scientists and Growing Mathematicians enhancements,” said Nursery Manager Keely Fletcher. “Children were involved in counting legs, estimating movement and also learned about the animals’ habitat.”
