Children at Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool in Berkshire have taken part in a messy play session where they were able to learn more about certain vehicles.
Staff set up a tactile activity involving mud and play diggers allowing the children dig up mud for the messy play. The children were then asked to wash the toys and tidy up after themselves.
“Washing the toys helped to teach the children the value and importance of looking after your things,” said Nursery Manager Jackie Rumbold. “We encouraged the children to get their hands dirty and have some fun.”
