Children at Bright Horizons Heron Quays Day Nursery and Preschool in Canary Wharf have taken part in National Storytelling Week.
Throughout last week, the children were given the opportunity to read a variety of books, which also tied in with the organisation’s Growing Readers enhancement.
“Bright Horizons regularly encourages reading at all of our nurseries to emphasise the importance of reading to children and cultivating a love of great books through our Growing Readers enhancement,” said Nursery Manager Emma Van Rooyen. “Therefore we were delighted to take part in National Storytelling Week.”
The nursery offers care for children aged between three months and five years old and is just a short walk from Canary Wharf tube station. It also offers a hair salon for children on Wednesdays from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
