Edinburgh nursery children celebrate St Andrew’s Day

Children and staff at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Nursery and Preschool in Edinburgh have celebrated St Andrew’s Day in style.

In the toddler room, the children used Scottish flags and glue to create collage pictures of the Saltire. In the preschool room, the children used blue, white, green and purple paint to create different images of thistles as well as the Scottish flag.

“St Andrew’s Day is undoubtedly an occasion we love to celebrate every year and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves again this time round,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kate Hubbert. “We were delighted with the creativity they showed when making their own saltires and thistles. We look forward now to celebrating Burns Night in January.”
