Preschoolers at Green Park Day Nursery in Reading have been enjoying the autumn season with their very own Forest School experience.
They visited a local woodland area and took part in a number of outdoor activities.
The children particularly enjoyed a very special picnic around the campfire as well as making houses from twigs and sticks for their teddy bears.
The Forest School project, which is designed to encourage and inspire children of any age with positive outdoor experience, aims to promote respect for the environment and healthy lifestyle messages.
Nursery Manager Elayne Collins explained: "Autumn is a fantastic time for children to explore their environment. The season provides an array of different learning opportunities that we make the most of at Green Park.
"Forest School experiences help to educate children about the importance of the natural world as well as the enjoyment of being outside and engaging in physical activity."
