Children at Kiddi Caru Burgess Hill receive a helpful visit from the police

The children at Kiddi Caru’s Burgess Hill day nursery have been learning about people who help the community recently, and they were even visited by a policeman who told them all about how the police help people day to day.

As well as talking about his job Sergeant Collins let the children try on his hat and they were even allowed to sit in his police car.

Emma Bamford, Nursery Manager, explained: “Sergeant Collins is one of the parents here and he kindly offered to visit us to talk about what it’s like to be a policeman. The children are very interested in the jobs that people do and especially those that they see helping the public every day. They were absolutely delighted to be able to sit in a police car too and have been talking about it ever since!”
