Kiddi Caru’s Exeter day nursery is opening its doors to prospective parents interested in finding out more about the new nursery opening in Matford later this year. The Open Day is being held on Saturday 11th June from 10.30 until 1.00pm and encourages parents and children to experience the varied activities – including sensory play, yoga and cookery – that will be provided at the new nursery.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in, and there are plenty of activities for them to choose from.
For the under 2’s there will be treasure baskets, baby play dough, sensory trays, baby gardens, creative, sand and water and imaginative play.
The over 2’s will be able to enjoy yoga, exploring their senses, land snails, French, cooking and phonics.
All children will also be able to enjoy outdoor play using the mud kitchen, sand, water, mark making, the music garden and of course meeting the nursery’s chickens.
In addition meals of either chicken and vegetable tagine with herb couscous or Quorn and vegetable tagine with herb couscous followed by toffee and date sponge with toffee sauce freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef will be provided.
As part of a special Open Day promotion, Kiddi Caru is also offering 15% off childcare fees for life for the first 100 families to join! David Lord, Nursery Manager, said: “With the new nursery in the process of being built this Open Day is a fantastic opportunity for parents and children to come in and get a real feel for what spending time at a Kiddi Caru nursery means. Our Open Day will give parents an insight into a typical day so that they can not only find out more about Kiddi Caru but also have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have in a relaxed environment.”
