The children and their parents at Kiddi Caru’s Northampton day nursery are putting their Easter Bonnet making skills to the test, when they compete to win this year’s Best Bonnet accolade.
The children and their parents, grandparents and even aunties and uncles will all be getting involved, working together at home to complete their bonnets.
Judging will take place at the nursery and the best bonnet in each room will win a yummy chocolate Easter egg.
As an extra Easter treat the nursery will also be holding an Easter Egg hunt for the children and everyone will be able to enjoy the Easter bonnet parade. There will also be egg decorating and biscuit making too!
Tracey Cairns, Nursery Manager, said: “Easter is very much a family occasion so we thought it would be a great excuse to get our families working together to make their Easter Bonnets. I am sure that the competition will be fierce and that a lot of hard work will go into them. I’m just hoping that I don’t have to be the judge as I know it will be impossible to choose the winner.”
