Kiddi Caru’s Bedford day nursery is opening its doors to existing and prospective parents on Saturday 5th March from 10.30 until 1.00pm inviting them to experience the nursery’s varied activities – including Daffodil Painting and decorating Mother’s Day biscuits first hand.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in, and there are plenty of activities for them to choose from.
While the under 2s enjoy sensory play, the over 2s will also be able to enjoy weighing and measuring, water tray volcanoes and dinosaurs.
All children will be able to enjoy outside play in the garden with sand play, story telling, bikes and chalks. In addition meals of pasta bake followed by toffee sponge pudding or fruit freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef will be provided.
Hannah Buckley, Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here. It’s difficult when you are so busy and sometimes literally just have time to drop your child off and go to work – their life can become a bit of a mystery. Our Experience Days give parents an insight into our typical day so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”
