Children from kidsunlimited Church Crookham on Redfields Lane made new friends when visited their local Millar’s Ark farm.
Joined by parents and nursery staff, the children had fun learning about a variety of different farm animal, including pigs, goats, sheep and poultry. Amongst many questions asked the children wonder ’What the farm animals eat? Where do they live? or Can they be stroked?’
The children also enjoyed riding on the train around the farm and decorating wellington boots. The Nursery Assistant, Chloe Coles said: “Everybody had a great day and enjoyed the experience what the life on the farm is like. We feel that learning about animals is important as it helps to increase children’s understanding about the world around them.”
