Timperley kids buzzing this Halloween

Children and parents were invited to Bright Horizons Timperley Day on Stocks Dean Close, just off Deansgate Lane, to celebrate Halloween in style.

During this fun-filled day the children dressed up as bugs, carved pumpkins and made scary cupcakes. Although the highlight was a sticky bug jelly sensory activity, where the children could get messy and play with their friends.

“This sensory activity allows the children to explore different textures, smells, tastes and helps with developing eye coordination and fine motor skills”, explains Deputy Manager, Karen Farrow, who continues, “The children were so excited to share Halloween with their parents, and they had a great time taking part in all of the activities, the day also offered us a great opportunity to explain to our parents the learning elements behind the play.”
