Kids Planet Lymm raised £565.81 for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust. The nursery held a summer fair and open day on Saturday 1st August with lots of activities for children including bouncy castle, face painting, tombola, raffles, ice cream, refreshments and more.
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is based at Booth Bank Farm, a 17th Century farmhouse set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. They provide a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West. Patrons of the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust include Jason Manford, Lee Boardman, John Bishop and Noddy Holder.
Helen from Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, said ““We’re so grateful to everyone at Kids Plant in Lymm for their fantastic fundraising, they are such amazing supporters of what we’re doing here at the Adventure Farm. We were very impressed that so much was raised from their Summer Fair, we know how difficult fundraising can be! The money raised will go such a long way in helping to change the lives of some very special local children and we really can’t thank everyone involved enough.”
The Lymm nursery is situated on Eagle Brow just two minutes’ walk from Lymm village. The nursery has been developed to provide each of our different age groups with separate areas that have stimulating colours running throughout, creating areas for children to explore and discover through play. The nursery received an outstanding rating from Ofsted in February 2014.
