The children and their parents at Kiddi Caru’s Taunton day nursery enjoyed a patriotic day on 23rd April.
To celebrate St George’s Day, the nursery held a red and white day with everyone dressing up in their favourite clothes.
The children also enjoyed playing with red corn flour and making England flags. Everyone also celebrated by jumping for joy in the sun and then afterwards tucked into a St George’s tea party.
Claire Blenkinsop, nursery manager, said: “We love to celebrate lots of diverse festivals from all over the world as part of our inclusive activities and also so that children learn to embrace lots of different cultures. However, alongside that we also remember to make sure that we celebrate our national Patron Saints days too. I have to say we all really enjoyed this red and white extravaganza not least of all because we adore tea parties in the garden.”
