Kiddi Caru’s Bedford day nursery is opening its doors to existing and prospective parents on Saturday 25th April from 10.30 until 1.00pm inviting them to experience the nursery’s varied activities – including sensory play and flower printing – first hand.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in, and there are plenty of activities for them to choose from.
For the 0-2’s – there will feather sensory play, small world baby animals and painting and for the over 2s there will be bird nest cakes, cornflour and paint, sensory play and flower printing.
All children will be able to enjoy outside play with sand, bikes, story telling and chalks.
In addition meals of Beef or Vegetable lasagne followed by apple tart and custard freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef will be provided.
Hannah Buckley, Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here. It’s difficult when you are so busy and sometimes literally just have time to drop your child off and go to work – their life can become a bit of a mystery. Our Experience Days give parents an insight into our typical day so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”
