The children at Kiddi Caru’s Basingstoke nursery will not have to hunt for fun this Easter, with a whole week of activities organised by the staff to get children of all ages involved in celebrating the occasion.
As well as an Easter egg hunt around the nursery and its garden area the children will be making bunny ears, decorating hard boiled eggs and creating a huge collage of Easter eggs and chicks. This is in addition to lots of craft activities, and of course a colourful Easter bonnet parade, which will take place in April 1st.
Suzanne Chilvers, Nursery Manager, said: “Easter is such a colourful time of year and we wanted to bring that into the nursery as much as possible. I can’t wait to see all of the children’s Easter bonnets this year - they always put so much effort into making them and I am sure we are going to have one of the brightest Easter bonnet parades in the county on April 1st.”
