Children and staff at Kiddi Caru’s Plympton day nursery have been exploring their inner boffns as part of British Science Week.
British Science Week (BSW) is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths - featuring fascinating, entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.
The children will be trying their hand at lots of new activities such as upside down space writing, creating ‘exploding’ volcanoes, understanding all about money and magnets and making dinosaur eggs using balloons and water.
Tracey Callan, Nursery Manager, said: “Children love learning and are naturally inquisitive. British Science Week has been the perfect opportunity for us to try our hand at some new activities that our mini scientists of the future have really embraced. It has been a fabulous and fun week of learning for us all.”
