Kiddi Caru Milton Keynes Caldecotte Day Launches New Garden Facility

Kiddi Caru Milton Keynes Caldecotte is celebrating the launch of their new garden facility with an official opening ceremony being held on Saturday 7th March.

Alistair Patrick-Heselton, London 2012 Paralympian and Athlete Mentor will be cutting the ribbon along with wife, Jo and son Joshua.

Alistair is currently the Ambassador for the Durham FA and the Every Player Counts campaign, which encourages all disabilities into team building and football and is an active member of the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust’s GiveBack Team through the Sporting Champions and Sport for Change programmes. After being on the Jaguar Academy of Sport programme as a rising star this year, he was made a mentor on the programme. The investment made by Kiddi Caru has seen the garden undergo a total transformation. The new garden has been designed using natural materials and trees creating lots of areas of interest for the children. With numerous creative areas such as chalk, painting and a white board along with a mud kitchen, cars and bikes, the garden will provide lots of learning opportunities for the children.

Families attending the opening ceremony will be able to enjoy some of the nursery’s many activities such as sensory play, cooking and treasure baskeys as well as being able to sample some of the delicious food freshly prepared by the nursery’s talented cook.
