Children at Kiddi Caru’s Northampton day nursery spent celebrated the 2015 Chatterbox Challenge by making and wearing rabbit ears.
The theme for 2015 is Garden Adventures with Ben and Holly and about getting young children chattering about what they see, hear and feel in the garden.
With listening and attention being the foundation skills for good communication and language development, young children's learning will benefit from this fun way of looking at what lies in the garden.
The pre-school children at the nursery not only made their own rabbit ears but also enjoyed singing rabbit songs.
Trina Frost, Nursery Manager, said, “The Chatterbox Challenge is great as it gives us different ideas about how to inspire the children and help them to learn in a fun and enjoyable way. I have to say I thought Easter had come early with all these bunnies hopping around the nursery.”
