Children At Kiddi Caru Whiteley Create Animal Hospital

Learning how to look after poorly animals has been a top priority for the children at Kiddi Caru’s Whiteley day nursery recently, who have been inspired by a visit from a real life Vet Physio and her pet dog Jack.

The children set up Animal Hospitals in their playrooms, where they have been busy caring for poorly soft toy animals. Jack and his Vet Physio owner also showed the children how sick animals can be treated to make them feel better and they even brought some x-rays in so the children could see what different illnesses look like on the inside.

Helen Tucker, Nursery Manager, said: “We are very grateful to Vet Physio UK for arranging the visit. The children found it fascinating and have spent a lot of time trying out what they learned on their cuddly toys in their own Animal Hospitals. They loved Jack too, in fact I think they would have quite liked him to come and live at the nursery!”
